Ambassador Board

The 香蕉视频 Ambassador Board is a select group of committed individuals who strive to make a difference in the lives of students and the communities our schools serve. Members are mid-career professionals from a diverse range of private, public, and non-profit organizations who are interested in growing their networks and making a direct impact on historically underserved students in Washington, DC.

Ambassador Board members take an active role in improving educational outcomes for 香蕉视频 students by engaging as advocates and spokespeople for our schools. Members help fuel 香蕉视频鈥檚 role as a model school system and leader in the DC and national education communities.

Board Member Responsibilities

As a complement to 香蕉视频鈥檚 Board of Directors, the Ambassador Board acts as an additional selective group of champions and network-builders for 香蕉视频. Over the course of their term, Ambassador Board members commit their energy towards three primary responsibilities: activation, commitment, and investment.

Activation

Board members connect and build relationships with new external champions, represent and advocate for 香蕉视频 across their networks, and actively seek new partners and friends for 香蕉视频.

Commitment

Ambassador Board members attend quarterly in-person Board meetings, and act as members of host committees for our spring fundraiser and annual College Send-Off graduation campaign. In addition, they engage in student-focused events annually, including 香蕉视频鈥檚 College Fair, our KIPP Forward networking event, scholarship interview panels, 香蕉视频 days of service, NAF Academy Career days, or school-based volunteer projects.

Investment

As a part of their commitment, Ambassador Board members fulfill a 鈥済ive/get鈥 financial pledge of $2500 annually via any combination of individual fundraising campaigns, monthly giving program membership or sponsorship, event ticket sales, or direct contributions.
